Cant find the disable vita chamber switch help!?

I think it has something to do with memory or some kind of system update took away the dis able vita chamber switch. The problem is not that I don't know where to find it it's that it doesn't come up. I know its at the bottom of the options list but for some reason it doesn't come up. I always have no problem (normally) with making it past the medical pavilion, but that first Rosie in Neptune's bounty gives me so much trouble. I wouldn't bother if it wasn't for the fact that I need the Adam ( lol sound like an addicted splicer). Oh, i have seen the switch before 2 times but now it doesn't come up. iv deleted all my saves in Bioshock started new still no good. I have every achievement in Bioshock and I have Three fourths in Bioshock 2. iv searched all over the internet please help. I NEED BR .
