What is with NFL refs nowadays?

Im not crying about my team losing because of the refs now, or being biased. But on sundays i watch alot of football. and in the 4 games i watched, there were so many should have been calls, particularly in the Cardinals bengals game. Now im not a fan of either team but there were so many plays where fitzgerald was out for a catch and the DB would have his hands well grabbing at Fitzgeralds arms or banging into him. This happened in a ton of games, i mean what is with them, are they too blind to see the call?
