Is there a way to put music on my speakers and have people talking on my headset?

For example: I have xfire/teamspeak/ventrillo (voice-communication systems) and a headset. I have the headset plugged in and I hear everything (music, people talking, ect.). Is there a way tio have my headset plugged in but only hear people on the headset and than make my music (in Ares) play through my speakers? If so how?
