My 6 year old has been running a fever for 6 days with a very swollen gum in the far back bottom of her mouth.?

My 6 year old daughter has had a fever of abut 100-102.6 for off and on for 6 days now. She keeps complaining of her jaw hurting and chewing hurts. Her back lower gums are so swollen. I'm sure it must be her molers coming but should she be having this much trouble?
