When was the last time our Nation was ever divided on a single issue, like the Health Care bill?

Last time I checked it was in 1860. I sure hope that this Health Bill will soon go under the radar, and we all have the common sense to work together as Americans united not divided. I would hate to see something happen to our Union. I say we conserve the Union, and let the Libs win this one, we'll get them back at the Polls.
