Good Music Downloader? Not Limewire or Ares!!!!?

I just downloaded Bear Share. It downloads fast, but wont play. I tried downloading Windows Media Player 11 and it wont work. So do you know of any music downloaders that are free, and work fast, BESIDES LIMEWIRE AND ARES.
