Using Microsoft Outlook 2003 with Yahoo mail?

My question is fairly straightforward. If I subscribe to Yahoo Mail Plus will I be able to use MS Outlook 2003 to receive and send email? I used to use my cable provider email address (user@wowway.com). When I set up the POP3 account in MS Outlook 2003 I never had to go to the providers email service, I was able to receive and send everything through MS Outlook. So with Yahoo Mail Plus will I be able to use my MS Outlook EXCLUSIVELY as my email service?
